What weapons were used during the war?
There were many weapons used in World War I, that changed how we go to war. They used many rifles, machine guns, pistols, tanks and other weapons, and now the information. Rifles, there was different rifles from different countries, like the U.S. Springfield, a carbine made of course for the Americans, known as the standard wartime rifle. Next the Astro-Hungarian Steyr Mannlicher produced in Budapest and Steyr, in Austria. This gun also known as the Repetier Gewehr M95. Other two weapons that were used in the war were the French Lebel and Berthier, for the French of course. The Lebel was a copy of a German gun just made for the French. The Berthier was an upgraded version of the Lebel. The German rifle used was called the German Mauser, it shoots 7.92mm bullets and made by Peter Mauser, this gun had a big disadvantage because it's not automatic. Lastly, the British Lee-Enfield, gun for the British, it was issued to British soldiers on the Western Front. In conclusion these are the the rifles that were used in the war. The way to use these weapons is to put a flat tripod under the weapon and it would take up to four people to work it.
